Minerals for strength

There are a variety of minerals involved in the development of muscle for increasing strength.  However, the two minerals that play the largest roles in the development of muscle, and they are magnesium and zinc. Both are involved in the linking of amino acids into protein and muscle. They are also critical to the generation of Insulin-Like growth factor, as well as playing roles in the production  of testosterone –  a large anabolic factor.  Zinc is also involved in the production of growth hormone, which increases anabolism in response to strength training.
